recent road and trail conditions
Lacamas Park: The lilies should be in bloom again late April 2019. In the meantime, this is still a nice walk.
Cape Horn: Trail in it's entirety open through January 31, 2019. Thus can complete the entire loop. Lower portion closed again for bird nesting Feb. 1, 2019 - July 15, 2019.
Falls Creek Falls: As of December 1, 2018, Road 3062 to the trailhead is closed. This makes it a two mile walk in to the trailhead on the road. Scheduled to be ungated to the trailhead April 1, 2019.
Table Mountain: As of early 2017, the Bonneville Hot Springs Resort is closed, with traditional parking and trail access unavailable from that location. Must use alternate routes, primarily the nearby crossing of private lands, or by starting across from Bonneville dam and adding several miles via the PCT.
Mt. St. Helens east: As of December 2018, Road 99 is closed to Windy Ridge. The hikes include Mt. Margaret, Whittier Ridge/Lakes loop, and Plains of Abraham (Windy Ridge trailhead). Will likely reopen mid-summer 2019.
Mt. St. Helens south: As of December 2018, Road 83 is closed at the sno-park. Thus no access to the Ape Canyon trailhead to Plains of Abraham. Should reopen early summer 2019.
Mt. Adams west: As of December 2018, Road 23 is closed. Hikes include Crystal Lake and Avalanche Valley. Should reopen early summer 2019.
