This is a partial loop hike in Lacamas Park within the city limits of Camas.
This is actually more of a walk than a hike.  But there are many features of a mountain trail present: Two waterfalls, a nearby creek, a lake, open vistas, amazing flower displays in season; everything's just downsized.  Very impressive scenery tucked within an urban area.
A perfect first hike for the family, and also one that can be done again and again, with variations to explore from the trail map to come up with your own favorite route.

Can be done year-round, but a good choice if snow is in the lower elevations or late April through early May when the Camas lilies are blooming and cover acres of the loop.
